CREST Settlement

Schroder Ventures International Investment Trust plc ("SVIIT") announces that its shares can now be traded through the CREST settlement system.

This move has been made in response to the growing interest from investors looking to gain exposure to private equity through a vehicle such as SVIIT and will make SVIIT’s shares more accessible to this market and their advisers in the UK.

John McLachlan, Chairman of SVIIT, commented:

"This move, along with the launch of our investor relations website and the issuing of Euro Depository Receipts (EDRs) at the end of last year, is designed to provide easier access to private equity through SVIIT for a growing band of private investors."
